     Seminars & Conferences

 

1.     The First Conference of the PAI entitled "Recent changes and the future of Iran's population." was held in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tehran, 18-19 February 2003. This conference was supported by UNFPA, Center for Population Research in Asia and Pacific, Civil Registration Organization, Department of Family Health and Population, Ministry of Health, Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Tehran and Statistical Center of Iran.

  

2.     World Day Population Seminar was held in Allameh Amini Hall University of Tehran, 25Jun 2003, and was supported by UNFPA.

 

3.     The Second Conference of the PAI entitled "Population Issues with Emphasis on Youth in Iran." was held in the University of Shiraz, 12-13 May 2004. This conference was supported by UNFPA, Center for Population Research in Asia and Pacific, Civil Registration Organization, Department of Family Health and Population, Ministry of Health, Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Tehran and Statistical Center of Iran.

  

4.     World Day Population Seminar was held in Allameh Amini Hall of Tehran University, 21 Jun2004, and was supported by UNFPA.

 

5.     A One Day Seminar entitled "Iran and France Contemporary Population Problems." was held in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tehran, 19 Oct 2004, and was supported by INED, PAI and Faculty of Social Sciences.

 

6.     A Scientific one Day Session entitled "Population Issues Related to millennium Goals Development in Iran." was held in Amirkabir conference Hall of the University of Tehran, 27 Oct 2005.

 

7.     The Third Conference of the PAI entitled " Sources of demographic data with emphasis on census: Approaches and Challenges." Was held in the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tehran, 20-21 December 2005. This conference was supported by UNFPA, Statistical center of Iran, Center for Population Research in Asia and Pacific, and Faculty of Social Sciences.
